2009 Festival Information: Boatfest Festival Kickoff Party
Annapolis will Get Down in fine maritime fashion for Boatfest, the Friday evening Festival kickoff party, just across Ego Alley from where the Festival will get underway the following morning.

In the parking lot “deck” at Fawcett Boat Supplies, 110 Compromise Street, on Annapolis City Dock's Ego Alley, just across from the Festival site at Susan B. Campbell Park.
Tickets: $15 at the door, $10 in advance

Going Green
Continuing an effort that began last year, organizers are striving to make the Festival as "Green" as possible, and that includes Boatfest. Party goers at Friday’s Boatfest will have "greenware" for their beverages.
As our maritime heritage centers on the health of the Chesapeake Bay, many local government agencies and organizations will participate in the Festival in “Eco Alley,” led by the grassroots Annapolis Green organization, to educate the public about steps we can all take for the good of the Bay.
Boatfest proceeds will benefit the Festival and the Eastport Yacht Club Foundation.
